Craig and Becky: California

Craig and I and my cousin Sara went to Sacramento in September. I was so excited to visit my hometown and we had tickets to see Neil Diamond at Arco Arena so of course Craig was excited too. We drove straight through the night and arrived in Orangevale at about 6 in the morning. We were exhausted but it was definitely worth it.

This was Craig's first experience with In & Out Burger. Needless to say, we ate there a few times before we left CA.

I finally got to see the new Sacramento Temple. It was so beautiful!

Of course we had to stop so that Craig could chase the wild turkeys hanging out at the temple. Craig is the turkey on the far right.

My Uncle Dwight is pretty fond of his "scooter." He took me for a little ride and it was a blast!

SAN FRANCISCO

Craig was concentrating pretty hard on taking this picture. He got a great picture, but he just forgot to smile.

There is a little outside theater on Pier 39 that has random little shows through out the day. Craig was called up to participate during this magic/juggling show. Each of them had to sit on chairs and then they each had to lay down on the guy's stomach behind them. Then all of the chairs were taken out from under them. Craig said that the hardest part was getting out of the configuration. That's him on the left.

This was at the wax museum on Fisherman's Wharf. You sit in the electric chair and there is a ghost that comes out in the mirror in front of you and scares you while you are being "electrocuted."

I was not prepared for the huge gust of air that blows up from behind and underneath the chair. Craig was so proud that he was able to catch this picture.
