Portland Sights

My Aunt Laura and her family took us to the Rose Festival Parade which features tons of high school bands and floats from all kinds of local clubs and companies. It was a crazy parade but super entertaining. This was obviously Craig's favorite part.

Portland is known as the City of Roses. There are roses and flowers everywhere. This was at the Rose Gardens in Washington Park. It is completely free to go in and there are roses of every kind and color and size. It was beautiful!

This is the view from Mount Tabor Park. So far it is my favorite park that we have found and it has the best views of Portland and of Mt. Hood.

One Saturday I decided to check out the Saturday Market in downtown Portland and it just so happened that they were hosting tours of Naval ships that were here just for the day. I got there too late to sign up for a tour, but it was still awesome to see the huge ships docked right next to the city.
